Is there anything that will make your hair grow faster?

I am trying to grow out my hair. When I went in to get it trimmed, she took about 3 inches off!! I want my hair back!! Any ideas on how to grow at LEAST 3 inches back before school starts again?!
Oh ya, and I don’t want to have to take any pills…
