How do you make your hair grow faster and longer quickly?

I swear my hair does not grow, like only like 3 inches per year. I really want my hair to grow about 6 more inches and i dont know how to make it grow faster and quicker. Vitamins, special shampoo, anything? People please help me. Thanks :)
