How Can You Make Hair Grow Faster?

I have really curly hair and 7 months ago I cut it short. For a few months I liked it. The main reason I cut it was because I told myself, "Just cut it, it always grows back." Well, 7 months later it’s only the tiniest bit longer. I know there is no over night growth tip, but does anyone have ANY ideas on gradual hair growth? Please, I NEED your answers, my short hair doesn’t work well so short!
