- Laundry, make one day out of the weekend your laundry day
- Grocery shop, get everything that you need to get you through the work week.
- Plan meals for the week take Sunday for instance cook a few meals that will stretch out through the work week. Refrigerate or freeze them.
- Prepare lunches the night before, you can use leftovers from dinner. Pack the lunches and label them in the refrigerator. (this will save time in the morning)
- Ironing, pick a day, I usually pick Sunday and set my outfits for the week.
- Organize your closets, hang all of your clothes in order, in category work clothes, casual, sport then short sleeve shirts together, sweaters, skirts ect..
- Place everything in front of the front door, brief case, laptop, keys, school bags, shoes. The advantages are that will have everything you need right there in your reach while on your way out the door. A real time saver!
- For breakfast set the table the night before, this will cut a lot of time you can even set up your coffee pot on the timer and/or set your tea pot to just turn it on.
- Ever wish there were more time in the day? Suggestion….Set every clock in the house to 10 minutes fast, your family will gain 10 minutes extra in the morning in case of emergencies. Do not tell the kids.
- Lay out your clothes the night before and get your family in the habit of it to.
You may be surprised how these 10 little things may save a lot of time in the morning and during your week. Try it..
